Hops a “hop” topic Wednesday at the fruit and vegetable growers convention in Niagara Falls, ON Wed., Feb. 22, 2017.

Hops will be a major topic of discussion at this week’s Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ convention in Niagara on the Lake.

As a demonstration of the increasing interest in growing hops in Ontario, OMAFRA has lined up a full-line up of speakers to make presentations on day one of the event on Wed., Feb. 22, 2017, along with the 5th year for the Great Ontario Hopped Craft Beer Challenge – where some of Ontario best craft brewers and hop growers team up and square off to claim the coveted “Bottomless Cup.”

Judges will be tasting at the Great Ontario-Hopped Craft Beer Competition, held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 during the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention in Niagara Falls, ON. This year’s style of competition beer is a Belgian IPA.
